Types of Contributions
- Full contribution
6 pages paper & oral presentation, full paper peer review, paper published in IFAC-PapersOnLine Proceedings Series (open access, ISSN and individual DOI assigned, indexed in SCOPUS, Web of Science, Google Scholar, and other databases), oral presentation (20 min)
- Short contribution
2 pages paper & poster or 2 pages paper & oral presentation, short paper peer review, paper published in digital short-paper conference volume, authors can indicate a preference for poster (size DIN A0, portrait, 841 x 1189 mm) or oral presentation (20 min), intended for student and industry contributions
Full and short contributions are submitted via the conference submission website https://ifac.papercept.net/conferences/scripts/start.pl.
All participants are encouraged to submit proposals for invited sessions on a specific research subject from the scope of MECHATRONICS & NOLCOS 2019. An invited session proposal should include:
- Title of invited session
- Abstract of invited session (150-300 words)
- Name and contact information of organizers
- List of at least six contributions containing paper titles, author names, and contact Information of corresponding author
Invited session proposals are submitted as a pdf file via the conference submission Website https://ifac.papercept.net/conferences/scripts/start.pl. Templates are available at the end of this page.
Contributions presented in invited sessions are based on personal invitation by the respective organizers. An invited session should have at least six contributions. The number of contributions of the organizers should not account for more than 50% of the invited session contributions. To encourage participation of people from industry and promote young authors, inclusion of a maximum of 20% short contributions is possible.
After acceptance of an invited session proposal, organizers will obtain an invited session code that they should distribute to the contributors. Contributors will require this code for paper submission. The format, the submission procedure, the submission deadline, and the review process for invited session papers are the same as for all other contributions.
At the discretion of the conference organizers, appropriate individual papers may be assigned to an invited session. Accepted papers from a cancelled invited session will be placed in another session.
